Speaking Point: 1) The Jackson family has demanded executors (attorneys John Branca and John McClain) of Michael Jackson's estate resign effective immediately. Speaking Point: 2) Allegations of a fake and fraudulent will? No! said the California Supreme Court after it rejected the case in 2010. Speaking Point: 3) 82 year old Matriarch Katherine allegedly suffered a "mini-stroke" which means she may lack the mental capacity to continue to serve as guardian of of the King of Pops's three children: Prince Michael 15 years, Paris 14 yrs. and Blanket 10 yrs. Speaking Point: 4) So, what is the dealio? Well, the color of it is green. When he died the Jackson estate was $500 million in the red. Now, three years later, the estate reported $475 million in profits. So, apparently the Jackson family also wants some of that green as Michael's trust only provides for Katherine, Jackson's kids and charity. Speaking Point: 5) In light of Katehrine's "mini-stroke" there are allegedly signs of elder abuse regarding the trust and guardianship. Meanwhile, the disherited Jackson 5 are bitter that Katherine agreed to increase the percentage of the executors gross income from the estate which allegedly is about ten percent from the deals they negotiate. 10% of $475 million equals $$$$$$ ($47.5M). Speaking Point: 6) Bottom line: The remaining Jackson Five should have hired a really good probate litigation attorney three years ago before it got too late.
