Speaking Point: We always here that in order to lose weight we need to work out and eat right. The experts in the industry will even tell you that 80% of creating your ideal body is eating and 20% is working out. This expert feels that there is a third element and that is your mindset. If you do not have your mindset aligned with being thin and fit you will sabotage yourself every time. Speaking Point: Co-author of Taming Your Alpha Bitch and creator of The Ideal Body System says, "Extra weight on our bodies is resistance. The resistance is the negative emotions that we stuff down and don't address. It is the fear that we feel, but don't want to look at. Even being an Alpha Bitch can cause us to be overweight and sabotage our success in creating the bodies we desire. Speaking Point: Stuffing feelings instead of focusing on right action always needing to be in control takes it’s toll on our mind and ultimately our bodies. Speaking Point: When we are competing with other women and comparing ourselves to their bodies, we end up feeling disempowered. This leads us to eating foods that are not good for us and skpping the workouts. When you feel badly do you feel like eating a carrot or a cookie? Speaking Point: We all know what it takes to lose weight, but why do so many women reach their goal and then gain the weight back. Why is there so much failure at maintaining our desired weight? When you are coming at life from an Alpha Bitch perspective you are also out of alignment with your well-being. When we are being "bitchy" to ourselves and critical it is hard to feel good. This has us feeling disempowered and we make choices that are out of our integrity. Speaking Point: Unless you embrace the parts of you that are screeming out that they need some type of love and attention instead of trying to force or control that part of you to do someting different, your body will never change. Speaking Point: What is the first thing you want to do when someone tells you not to do something? Most people will rebel and want to do the exact thing that is forbidden. When you approach your diet from an alpha bitch perspective (trying to force and control) it always back fires and ultimatley sabotages your efforts.
