How You Can Be More Like Denzel Washington
Guestpert: Lisa Haisha M.A.
Category: New Age

Speaking Point: Have you noticed how some people seem to attract positive attention wherever they go, while others seem eternally surrounded in a cloud of negativity? How some people walk into a room and have everyone gravitate toward them, while others seem invisible to others? What’s the difference in these two types of people? The people who seem showered in good luck and who can capture our attention regardless of what they’re doing have charisma. Their magnetism is potent, enabling them to effortlessly make a dynamic impact.

Speaking Point: A few years ago, Julia Roberts (when she accepted the Oscar for Best Actress for Erin Brockovich) said that she can’t believe she has an Oscar and Denzel Washington doesn’t. She went on saying that she could watch Denzel for hours just reading the phone book because he’s so fascinating and talented. What she was really implying was that Denzel Washington radiates a vitality and charisma that is infectious—that by simply watching him, you are transformed. Do you have this kind of magnetism? If not, it’s time to develop it.

Speaking Point: Everyone has a magnetic field that draws them to people, experiences, and things that mirror the vibratory equivalent of their thoughts, perceptions, opinions, and beliefs. That’s why you need to be careful what you think about and how you handle what’s perceived as negative interruptions in your life. If you respond to these negative interruptions in a negative way, you’re actually allowing your internal Impostors to shift opportunities that are coming in contact with you, and that creates drama. Ideally, you want your overall consciousness to come from your Authentic Soul, not from your Imposters.

Speaking Point: Parmahansa Yogananda said it best: “Spiritual magnetism is the power of the soul to attract or create whatever it needs for all-around happiness and wellbeing.” To accelerate your magnetic frequency and manifest your vision for your life, you must enter the laboratory of your own mind and soul and evolve through four key domains.

Speaking Point: First, you need to discover your gifts and talents. That means you have to know what your values are and why you want something, and then you have to create a game plan to get it. Next, you have to be confident enough to share your gift. If you don’t share your gifts and talents with the world, you’re causing yourself negativity. Third, you have to move into a deeper spiritual practice of getting in touch with your Authentic Soul through visualization, which attunes you to your truths. Finally, practice meditation regularly. This means you no longer need to attract anything because you live in alignment with the Authentic Soul

Speaking Point: When you take the time to focus on yourself, your gifts, and your goals, you gain clarity and insight and have the wherewithal to follow through. Your Inner Impostors, the ones with all those negative voices, naturally fade into silence, increasing your spiritual magnetism and enabling you to attract what you want into your life.
