...More Friends, LIKE!.

As a Marketeer, I have been watching the social networking game happen and in my observation and play, there are two different approaches. The obvious and the more stated approach is the numbers game. Add as many people as you can, anywhere you can. This is an appropriate approach for a variety of different gatherings which seems apparent enough, that I don't need to go into that approach any further. The second approach, and less recognized approach, is cultivating a refined and strategic approach of key players in your social networking game. The reason for this approach, is that you can closely monitor their 'happenings.' When you have so many people, it's not possible to witness only announce which means you are only ever doing the talking, and never really doing the listening. Also, by focusing on key people, and being selective and strategic in your social gathering approach, your rolodex is like sourcing diamonds instead of just rolling stones.
